Website volunteer information
This section covers the volunteer form on this website, operated for Friends of James Wataru.
Information you provide
The form asks for your first and last name, email address, and permission to contact you by email about volunteering. You may also provide a phone number, select volunteer interests, and describe other ways you would like to help. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in the message field.
How your information is used
Your submission is emailed to the campaign’s designated volunteer coordinator so the campaign can respond and organize volunteer activities. The website form does not sign you up for automated text messages. Submitting the form is not a donation.
Service providers and retention
FormSubmit processes the form and forwards it by email. FormSubmit documents a submission archive retained for 30 days; emailed copies remain in the recipient’s mailbox until removed. FormSubmit’s spam-prevention check may use Google reCAPTCHA. These providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, and cookies under their own policies.
See FormSubmit’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy. Google Fonts is used to display the site’s typography. Website hosting services may process technical request information to deliver and protect the site.
Your choices
You can choose not to submit the form. To correct volunteer information, request removal of an emailed submission, or ask the campaign to stop volunteer-related email follow-up, contact friendsofjameswataru@gmail.com. We will direct requests to the volunteer coordinator and relevant service providers as needed.
Separate text-message programs
The following terms concern a separate, explicit opt-in to Friends of James Wataru text-message programs. They do not turn a website volunteer submission into SMS consent.
Separately consenting subscribers may receive recurring automated SMS or MMS campaign information, fundraising messages, and donation requests. Consent is not a purchase condition. Message and data rates may apply; frequency and sending numbers may change. Coverage and delivery are not guaranteed, and services are provided as available.
To unsubscribe, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to the sending number. A confirmation message may follow. If enrolled through multiple numbers, unsubscribe from each separately. For assistance, reply HELP or email friendsofjameswataru@gmail.com; HELP and support emails do not themselves cancel a text subscription.
Text-program information may be used to send messages and respond to subscribers, shared with delivery partners, or disclosed when required by law or to protect rights. Subscriber information is not sold or transferred for profit. Subscribers must provide accurate information. These text-program terms are limited to those programs.
Using this website
Please submit accurate information and use the form only for legitimate campaign inquiries. Linked donation and survey services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. No online service can guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free delivery.
